Want to practice in a non-English language?

You can change the transcription language in Speeko.

By default, Speeko transcribes in English. But if you’re practicing in another language, you can switch the trranscription language to better match your needs.

While our AI feedback is designed for English speech, it can still offer useful insights for non-English speech, especially in areas like pace, pausing, and intonation. Just keep in mind that feedback on articulation and word choice is limited for non-English speech.

 

Instructions for iPhone and iPad

  1. Go to the Progress tab.
  2. Select the icon in the top right corner to open the Settings menu.
  3. Select Change transcription language.
  4. Select your preferred language from the list.
 

Instructions for Mac

  1. Choose Settings > Change transcription language... from the menu bar.
  2. Select your preferred language from the list.
 

Instructions for Android and web

  1. In the navigation menu, choose Your Name > Settings.
  2. Under Transcription, select Update.
  3. Select your preferred language from the list.
