Want to practice in a non-English language?

You can change the transcription language in Speeko.

By default, Speeko transcribes in English. But if you’re practicing in another language, you can switch the trranscription language to better match your needs.

While our AI feedback is designed for English speech, it can still offer useful insights for non-English speech, especially in areas like pace, pausing, and intonation. Just keep in mind that feedback on articulation and word choice is limited for non-English speech.

How do I change the transcription language?

  1. Go to the Progress tab
  2. Select “Change transcription language”
  3. Select your preferred language from the list

How do I add custom fillers for my language?

And that’s it! You’ll now get feedback when you speak in your selected language.
